We’ve been back out tackling the use of illegal and nuisance e-bikes and e-scooters 

Last week officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, Prosper Partnership team, and Roads Crime Unit carried out operations in St Matts, Ribbleton, Ingol and Cottam.

10 more illegal vehicles were seized….that’s over 150 since July!

Why are we doing it? 

Because you consistently tell us, via the Lancashire Talking survey, that nuisance vehicles and the use of illegal E-bikes and E-scooters is one of your top concerns!

Figures show that since March 2025 to date – of all those who have completed the Lancashire Talking survey in Ingol and Cottam identify by far the top issue raised is general ASB, road safety and nuisance Motorbikes / E bikes / Scooters all of which are linked. ‘YOUSAIDWEDID

This is about more than just enforcement — it’s about protecting our community and reducing anti-social behaviour.
